How To Make The Best Matcha Green Tea?

For A Cold Brew:

Get good grade matcha that is bright green in colour and not brownish. Then press it through a sieve to prevent any sort of clumps to form in the mixture.

Once you made sure all you have is powdered matcha, add about ½ teaspoon of matcha and ½ cup of water in a glass, mix it well until a thick paste is formed.

Then add some fresh orange juice to give the matcha green tea some extra fresh flavour and top it off with some more water. Mix with an electric frother until completely combined! An electric frother would generate the cool looking froth in the tea and would look really appetizing as well! You can even use a traditional bamboo frother.

For A Hot Brew:

Get your matcha and strain the powder through a sieve until no lumps are left. Press it well to eliminate all the lumps in the powder.

Then add hot water (160-170 ℉) about ½ cup and mix it with ½ teaspoon of matcha until hot paste forms. Then fill the glass with hot water and mix with an electric frother to complete the drink!

These are the two ways you can make your matcha green tea. Try it out and let us know in the comments if you liked it!
